Oceanic Investor Relations Unit informs and educates investors by providing market intelligence to them. To do this successfully, it demonstrates good understanding of the structure and composition of the bank’s shareholders.
It communicates with analysts, investors, financial regulators and a larger audience. This involves managing their expectations including correcting their misconceptions. On a regular basis, there are interactions with leaders of shareholder associations. It also involves feeding the management of the bank with market views on the bank.
To effectively do this, the Unit interacts with the electronic and print media. This means that from time to time, press releases, questions and answers, presentations and report are made available to them.
